Important Nutrition Information

All Genesis's scholars will eat FREE during the 2024-2025 school year.

Genesis Innovation Academy's Nutrition Department will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Program.
The Community Eligibility Provision is a National School Lunch (NSLP) & School Breakfast Program (SBP).

Genesis scholars will benefit from the CEP Program by the following ways:

  • The elimination of completing & submitting meal applications.
  • All Genesis scholars will be offered Breakfast & Lunch at NO COST.

Note: Each scholar will be offered (1) breakfast and (1) lunch which includes a milk each school day. Any additional food item must be paid for.

Our food service receives support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.

Our goal is to ensure your scholar(s) receive nutritionally balanced, high-quality meals daily. Meals will be prepared on-site daily by SLA Management. We have been in partnership with SLA Management since 2017. We are pleased to announce that they will continue to prepare and serve our scholars healthy, nutritional meals.
